This plan was a comprehensive effort to integrate environmental conservation, nodal growth patterns, connectivity, and cultural protection. It included a robust study into the natural environment (The Greenprint Plan) and how strategies for environmental resilience could reshape where and how new development was located, and how accelerated growth projections could be better accommodated to reduce impacts from coastal flooding events. This plan, along with the Greenprint Plan won a National American Society of Landscape Architects Honor Award in 2022. It is organized into three documents: the County Atlas, the Comprehensive Plan, and the Action Plan.
